Where has all the music gone?    Autumn 2022

After sitting on King Street in Bristol city centre for a solid 5 hours, I got chatting to a guy blasting reggae music from his mobility scooter after he haphazardly crashed into my table. We chatted about his youth, life in Ireland, love for Bristol but kept circling back to the lack of appreciation for music in public spaces since covid-19.

This video documents our conversation through the sounds of the lively pubs on the street in the evening and the visual mundanity of the same street during the day.
